Winter is in full swing now in Hawaii with lots of waves and winds from the north....not ideal for surfing on the North shore. Last night was a benefit for Rell Sun at Waimea Vally. Some great jams from Jake Shimabukoro, Paula Fuga , Rob Machado and others. If you have not heard their music I recommend you search for them on youtube.com . A fun concert and benefit that funds will go towards a statue to be built in honor of the legend surfer and "queen of Makaha" Lots of big surf and favorable winds are headed our way!! Sunset Beach WQS is set to finish and the world title race set to be determind at for the Pipeline masters. Happy surfing!!!.....Danny
